Create a Paytm UPI QR code for instant payments. Works with Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe and all UPI apps. Free — no sign-up needed.
A Paytm QR code is a standard UPI QR code linked to your Paytm UPI ID — which ends in @paytm. When someone scans it with Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, or any UPI app, your payment details are pre-filled and they can pay you in seconds. Paytm was India's first major digital payment app, founded in 2010, and according to Statista, Paytm had over 350 million registered users as of 2024.
The QR code stores a standard UPI deep link in this format:
This upi:// URI format is defined and governed by NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India). The upi:// format ensures full interoperability — any certified UPI app can scan and process payments from your Paytm QR code. You are not locked into the Paytm ecosystem.
Your Paytm UPI ID is what goes into the generator above. It looks like 9876543210@paytm — your mobile number followed by @paytm. Here's how to find it in four steps:
Launch Paytm on your Android or iOS device.
Tap your profile photo or avatar at the top-left corner of the Paytm home screen.
Scroll down to "UPI & Payment Settings" to see all your linked UPI IDs.
Copy the UPI ID ending in @paytm and paste it into the generator above.
There are two types of QR codes in the Paytm app, and it's important to know the difference. A Paytm UPI QR code (the type generated here) uses the standard NPCI upi:// format linked to your @paytm UPI ID — it works with every UPI app including Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, and Amazon Pay. A Paytm wallet QR, by contrast, is a proprietary format that routes payments through the Paytm wallet system and can only be scanned within the Paytm ecosystem.
For merchants and shop owners, always use a UPI QR code — not the wallet QR. A UPI QR reaches 100% of your customers regardless of which app they use, while a wallet QR limits you to only Paytm users. The generator on this page creates a proper UPI QR code.
Whether you run a shop counter, a restaurant, a home business, or freelance — a Paytm QR code makes accepting payments effortless. Print and laminate it at your billing desk. Place it on restaurant tables alongside the menu. Add it to your digital invoices as an embedded PNG. Share the downloaded image directly over WhatsApp to clients — they screenshot it, open their UPI app, scan from gallery, and pay instantly.
With over 350 million Paytm users and the upi:// standard ensuring interoperability, customers on Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, Amazon Pay, and any UPI-certified app can all pay you with the same QR code. One QR. Every customer. No transaction fees on the receiver's end.
QRMake offers free QR generators for every use case — no sign-up, no watermarks, no limits.

When scanned with Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe, or any UPI app, your payment details are pre-filled instantly. Paytm UPI IDs end in @paytm — for example 9876543210@paytm. The QR code encodes the standard NPCI upi:// URI, which all certified UPI apps across India can scan and process.
Your Paytm UPI ID ends in @paytm and looks like 9876543210@paytm. To find it: open Paytm → tap your profile photo (top-left) → scroll to UPI ID or tap 'UPI & Payment Settings'. You can also see it in Paytm → Pay → 'Scan any QR' section, where your UPI ID is displayed below your name and QR code.
Yes. A Paytm QR code uses the standard NPCI upi:// format, so anyone with any UPI app — Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, Amazon Pay — can scan it and pay. UPI is interoperable by design: NPCI mandates that all certified UPI apps accept payments to any UPI VPA regardless of which bank or app it belongs to. According to NPCI, UPI processed 14.87 billion transactions in March 2025 across all apps.
Yes. A Paytm UPI QR code (ending in @paytm) is a universal NPCI standard that works with all UPI apps. A Paytm wallet QR is a proprietary format that only works within the Paytm app ecosystem. For maximum reach — especially at a shop counter or for invoicing — always use a UPI QR code as generated here, not the wallet QR. The UPI QR ensures every customer, regardless of their app, can pay you.
Yes. A UPI QR code can only receive money — it cannot debit your account. Displaying your Paytm QR code at a shop counter is exactly what NPCI designed it for. The payer needs their own UPI PIN on their phone to authorize the payment, and that PIN never leaves their device. Your Paytm QR code is as safe to display publicly as printing your bank account number for incoming transfers.
The QR code image is generated entirely in your browser and saved to your device — no internet is needed to display it. You can print it, show it on a screen, or share it as a saved image file without any connectivity. The customer scanning needs internet to complete the UPI payment — the actual transaction happens via the UPI network in real time and requires the payer to be online.
